Made using 22mm or 25mm Oak or 22mm thick pine ‘Tongue &Grooved’ boards. These doors can be made ledge only or ledge and brace. Widely used in France and ideal for external use on outbuildings or even main house entry doors.
These External doors are also available with frames so please ask if you require a frame to be included with your order.
Available as ‘Door’ or Stable Door’ and ‘Right or Left hung’.
Unless requested we use smooth planed boards but if your looking for a more bespoke option such as sanded sawn boards or the traditional tapered boards include that with your Devis / Quote request. We construct using discreet mechanical fixings and waterproof powdered resin glues as used in boat-building but we also allow for expansion and contraction. The special glues seal the wood behind the ledges and braces thus helping to prevent water ingress.
